Will Scott Head Shots for SMX Local Search Ranking Tactics

I’d like a little help here please. Like my friend, Portland OR Web Designer, David Mihm I needed a head shot for SMX Local Mobile where I’ll be on a panel with a fine bunch of fellows on ranking factors for local search.

I went to see one of our clients Jessica Johanningmeier a New Orleans Wedding Photographer to have her shoot a few.

“Make me look young, thin and beautiful” I said and she felt right at home.

So without further ado I give you the choices. Please have a look and tell me in the comments which is your favorite:

I’ve got a favorite but interestingly my wife disagrees πŸ™‚

And… remember what grandma used to say… “If you don’t have something nice to say” — I think you know the rest.

Thanks for your help!

Will

Its sincere (or at least appears to be). Not too serious yet not to causal.

    Good Luck!

So, we have 2 for number 3.

From Mrs. Scott: (3 or 5).

  4. David Mihm Avatar

    Definitely #3.

    I think I’d go with #5. And then #2. I’m a big believer in the power of a smile….

    Hi Will!

I agree with your wife, but it depends what type of look you’re going for – I think #3 shows a more serious side without too much expression, while #5 definitely shows a personality. I think people enjoy a little personality.

Go with what the wife says. πŸ™‚ #5

I think something is held back in 1,2, and 3. I love 4 but would go with 5.

    Which is your favorite?

    Love, Mom

2 votes for photo #2 here, Will. Liam and I both think that’s the friendliest.

I am so excited about you being at SMX. What a wonderful experience for you!

We both prefer your expression in #2, but your wrinkly shirt spoils it – in our opinion. Second choice is #5. Margaret said, “If it was my decision, I’d swap your head in #2 with your body in #5. Tell Will, if he wants, he can email the files to me and I’ll do it.”

I like the big smiles in #’s 2 and #5.

But then….I’d give lots and lots of weight to what the wife suggests…..and I’d give significant weight to what mom suggests.

…..they all are complimentary. don’t worry.

  15. Aaron Weiche Avatar

    I’d say #3 and then #1.

After looking at number #4 for a few seconds, I felt like you had stole some ideas out of my mind or planted something in my soul. πŸ™‚
