I’m not disappointed in them for “caving”. I appreciate that they listened to their customers and eventually returned to the service there were known for. What I am disappointed in is that they said “It is clear that for many of our member’s two websites would make things more difficult…” Of course customers would not like having to manage 2 web sites and 2 separate bills for the same service. They didn’t give customers much credit. I left Netflix when they changed prices. I have been watching and laughing since then. I found a SNL sketch online that almost predicted that there would be more changes coming. They hit the nail on the head. Not long after I saw that came the announcement of “Qwicksters” demise. I switched to the Blockbuster Movie Pass. $10 a month and the service is included as part of my DISH Network TV service. As a subscriber and employee, I already knew the value they give me for HDTV. It was a pretty easy choice. I get all the streaming to my TV or computer and disk rentals I can go through in a month with Blu-rays and video games are included! Some companies make positive changes for their customers, others don’t give their customers much thought. Who knows, Netflix might go back on the price change too. I’ll stick with Blockbuster.
