Hey Louise, thanks for stopping by.

It looks like this trick might be “fixed” on Facebook’s side. Facebook Page and Tab URLs now seem to register as Facebook pages, so it should automatically connect and give you likes and actions — which may get your ads disapproved.

In the chance that you still have the old UI, make sure you have “Show social activity about…” checked.

You can’t get actions information from Marketplace ads leading to Facebook content, though, since it’s not connected to any page.

With your tip about entering the URL of the Facebook page instead of connecting to Facebook, don’t you then miss out on knowing the number of actions/likes your ad generated?
